Read a review on Seacoast Online ” …I can because BYOB is where it’s at and here you can bring a big crowd, order a whole table of familiar, comforting Italian fare, and share the wine and beer you love, just like at home.”
LaBella is a gem!
LaBella is situated in a tucked away little spot in the corner of a strip mall, and offers authentic Italian food and dessert at a reasonable price. LaBella is BYOB – which in itself is pretty badass. Of all the money you can spend on a good bottle of wine or a few good drinks at a nice restaurant, they give you the option of just bringing it yourself.
Not only was my entree delicious, but the tiramisu was probably some of the best tiramisu I’ve had in the area. I believe my server had an anicdote about the dessert, autheticating it’s origins being from Italy, but I cannot quite recall. They also serve pizza and items that are casual/kid-friendly in nature, so it’s a great place to take someone for Italian food that may wind up ordering the spaghetti because that is their palette limitation. The atomosphere itself is casual in nature, and one should not feel the need to dress up or make any type of impression in that way. There are table linens, but lazy susans – so put two and two together.
We love love love LaBella. We started going to LaBella when they were in Kensington, NH. My whole family enjoy all their incredible cuisine. The best fresh veal parmigiana ever and always order the fra diavolo ….mmm. The only problem is they give you way too much for my doggie bag. So good the next day. Hessein is a master chef and they have a wonderful family that makes you feel warm the minute you walk-in. My wife loves everything but in particular loves the lobster ravioli or the seafood LaBella to die for she claims. Mangia!
We have been top La Bella’s on several occasions. All were terrific. Most recently I arranged for a party of 14 in the middle of the dinner hour for my wife’s birthday dinner. It was super. Not only did the owner and the wait staff go out of their way to make the evening wonderful but I also called ahead and had them do the birthday cake. (I highly recommend this. It was fabulous, fresh and delicious.) I can’t rave about the food any more. We are all from Maine and we think nothing of driving to this restaurant. Try it for dinner and consider it for your next event. BYOB helped immensely with the overall cost.
La Bella has that home feel to it. The husband and wife that own this comfortable restaurant are pleasant and paying attention. The wife is right there to make sure you are happy with your experience and the husband part of the team is cooking the delicious food in the kitchen I owned a very successful restaurant for 20 years and I moved on to another career and I’m always searching for good food. La Bella has it, enjoy the lovely flavors.
First of all, my friends and I love to drink wine with dinner. La Bella’s BYOB policy allows us to bring in our own wine resulting in a significant value. The owner is very personable and the chef even stopped by to ask how things were. The food is excellent and it was a great place to meet and have dinner!
We’ve always liked the food at LaBella, but the atmosphere wasn’t all that wonderful. Well, they’ve redone the interior and the atmosphere is wonderful – what a nice change from kind of tacky to very attractive. New walls, etc have broken the space into specific areas that make the restaurant feel more upscale. The table cloths, colors, art work all have added to the ambience. The amount of food you get for the money is incredible. I love their eggplant parmigiana and actually had 3 meals from it! My husband had veal marsala which he liked very much and even he couldn’t finish it all for dinner. He had a little left to eat as part of his lunch the next day.
I cant get enough of this place!
Pros: BYOB, food, service, EVERYTHING
Cons: i have nothing…
“I’ve been to La Bella several times now and I’m equally impressed every time I go. Everything was great. The service was awesome and the BYOB with no cork fee is just as good. However, nothing compared to the food. This is the freshest food I have ever eaten. When we first walked in, the server we had told us that I could practically make my own meal or adjust it any way I liked. This made me thrilled because I was able to fit my meal to my needs.”
I knew this place had potential!
Pros: Incredible veal & seafood
Cons: Absolutely nothing
“Went to Labella’s last week and absolutely loved it! GREAT food GREAT service GREAT atmosphere! Can’t wait to go back to try other dishes! Love you guys!”
